Young actors from the National Youth Theatre, pictured here with TV’s Alison Hammond at our West End awards ceremony, scooped last year’s Community Project of the Year.
If you have a friend, relative or neighbour who deserves recognition for all that they do, now is the time to speak up about them. We need your help to thank the L&Q residents who go out of their way for the benefit of others.
Nominations close on 19 July, so don’t delay.
Put them forward today for a Creating Places Award 2019. There are six categories in this year’s awards:
Neighbour of the Year
Thank a neighbour whose thoughtfulness and selflessness help people locally. Do you know someone who makes other’s lives better by going the extra mile?
Local Hero of the Year
This award is for someone who has got involved and stood up for the community. They have tackled an issue that was affecting them and their neighbours.
Apprentice of the Year
Let an apprentice – either at L&Q or at one of our suppliers – know you think they’re doing a great job. This award is sponsored by the L&Q Academy.
Rising Star of the Year
Sponsored by L&Q Living, our care and support arm, this award is your chance to honour someone who has improved their life by achieving greater independence.
Young Person of the Year
Tell us about someone you know under the age of 24 who puts other people before themselves – someone who acts as an example to other young people.
Community Project of the Year
We want to acknowledge a local project or organisation that is making a big difference to people’s lives. This award is sponsored by the L&Q Foundation.
Don’t delay – nominate someone you know today.
